Spend the Spring Equinox in community celebrating our care for the world and capacity for personal and relational resilience. Joanna Macy’s root work, The Work That Reconnects is a practical, open-source, ever-evolving toolkit that anyone can use to build the stress-resilience, authentic community, and systems thinking needed in order to bring the change we wish to see in the world.
Facilitated by Kathleen Rude, a long-time student of Joanna Macy.
Kathleen Rude fell in love with the natural world as a young child and found her voice for environmental activism at age 10. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and an Master of Science degree in Natural Resources. Kathleen began her career as an environmental writer. She has been mentored by elders of Blackfoot, Lakota and Northern Ute descent and trained by Betsy Bergstrom. She has also been mentored by Joanna Macy and is a senior facilitator and mentor of The Work That Reconnects (WTR). She is a founding member of the Work That Reconnects Facilitators Network. In addition to her WTR workshops, she also runs workshops on environmental awareness and Earth-based spirituality.
